On Thursday, November 2, an exhibition about set and costume designer Lothar Grund was opened in the library. A short program was offered in the library's lecture hall. The National librarian welcomed the guests and the Theatre museum's specialist, Sigríður Jónsdóttir, gave a short presentation about the concept and philosophy of the exhibition. Finally, Brynjar Bragason said a few words on behalf of Lothar's family and his wife, Anna Halldórsdóttir. Two of their grandchildren came specially from Germany to attend the opening. The Cultural Representative of the German Embassy in Iceland, Sabine Friðfinnsson, and the German Ambassador to Iceland, Clarissa Duvigneau, are thanked for their cooperation with the exhibition.
