Last November 30, on the occasion of the library's 18th anniversary, two new websites were formally inaugurated: Historical Maps of Iceland and Saga Translations. The first is in reality the oldest digital reproduction project of the library, starting in 1996. The website has been enhanced with a new interface and new and better digital reproductions of the maps. The website is available at islandskort.is. The latter is a catalog of saga translations from all over the world available at sagas.landsbokasafn.is.
