Parking: Two parking spaces are for disabled people near the main entrance of the library.
The main entrance has automatic doors and is wheelchair accessible. There is a lift from the main entrance up to the 2nd floor where the main service desk is located. Please note that this lift is smaller than other lifts in the building (door width is 76cm and floor surface 140cm x 110cm). Please contact the service desk (tel. 525 5681) if more information is needed.
The library building is accessible for wheelchairs. From the 2nd floor there is a lift to other floors.
Toilets: Two toilets for disabled people are in the library, one on the 1st floor and another on the 4th floor. The toilets are beside the lift.
Study rooms: There are private study rooms in the library, two of them are reserved for disabled people. Students at the University of Iceland can apply for them by contacting the UI Student Counselling Centre. Others can apply to the circulation services (utlan@landsbokasafn.is).
