Laxness Special Collection

Halldór Laxness (1902-1998) should be known to most Icelanders since his works are very well known in Iceland. Besides his literature authorship he was involved in culture and politics and he wrote much about those topics in journals and newspapers. Most editions of Laxness have been collected and they form the heart of Laxness Special Collection. In this collection you can find most Icelandic and foreign editions of his works. Also included is a considerable number of works that have been written about him.
