Manuscripts and private archives of the Manuscript Collection are accessible but requests must be submitted before 9:30 and 13:30 daily by telephone 525 5678, email handrit (hja) landsbokasafn.is or in person.
The Manuscript Collection is open between 9 and 17 every week day. There are specific rules of conduct in the Reading Room of the Manuscript Collection and the Icelandic National Collection which library visitors are encouraged to study.
